Model Car Suspension - 2018

Ever since early middle school, cars have always been a passion of mine. From a mechanical standpoint,  have always been interested in the suspension mechanics of a car and how the powertrain and transmission works. In the pictures above you can see a model of 2 wheel suspension and steering components. Each wheel is attached to the steering rod and upper/lower wishbone pieces al This was a great learning example for me when it comes to how wishbone suspension works and why the height and stiffness of the suspension matters depending on the situation. Hopefully in the future I can apply this knowledge to design Rc controlled 3d printable cars and bug
