Electric Longboard - 2019

Ever since I was a young boy, I enjoyed riding skateboards and longboards. Somewhere along the way I discovered Electric longboards and instantly found a new hobby. In late high school I began designing very basic boards, focusing on design of the deck, the trucks, and the wheels. Eventually I learned how to model the belt motor design used on many electric boards, and not long after that I had modeled my first electric board!  I have designed a few models over the years (2018 - present). You can see in the exploded views how everything is modeled except for the wiring between the electric parts. I plan to model boards with independent wheel suspension in the future. Stay tuned!
